Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said on Wednesday that the CPC has always stood on the right side of history and profoundly reshaped global development over the past 105 years.
Xi, also Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, highlighted the Party’s role in the global arena when addressing a gathering marking the 105th founding anniversary of the CPC at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
“Through 105 years of unremitting struggle, our Party has profoundly influenced the course of world history. Our Party has always stood on the right side of history and on the side of human progress, profoundly reshaping the trend and landscape of global development through tenacious efforts,” Xi said.
