Storyline
The 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Service (CIFTIS) scheduled to open on Aug 31 in Beijing will build a platform for institutions of various countries to discuss the needs of exchange and cooperation in education with an exhibition for education services containing three exhibition areas and an education services trade forum, according to a press briefing on education services held in Beijing on Friday.
With the theme of “High Quality Education Leads the Future”, the exhibition for education services will be held in Hall 4 of Shougang Park from Sept 1 to 5.
At present, it has attracted more than 60 well-known educational institutions and enterprises at home and abroad, such as international educational organizations, educational technology enterprises, educational public welfare organizations, etc. The Education Forum will be held on Sept 2, with the first additional panel discussion.
“We adopted various forms, highlighting the openness and real-time interaction. In order to improve and upgrade all aspects of education and teaching with technology, we have created immersive interactive scenes and designed a variety of online and offline interaction methods. At this year’s forum, we will also have in-depth discussions on smart education, international comparative education, vocational education and family education,” said Ji Xiaozhe, deputy director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission.
For the first time this year, inter-governmental international organizations will be invited to participate in the education program, and the ASEAN-China Center will showcase itself as a “one-stop information and activity center” for China and ASEAN (Association Of Southeast Asian Nations) member states.
In addition, as a major part of the education theme, the exhibition of the Silk Road Craftsman International Cooperation Alliance of Vocational Schools will highlight the educational or professional characteristics, international development projects, alliance competitions and other aspects of the member colleges. During the exhibition, intangible cultural heritage masters and Beijing culture inheritors will be invited to perform and interact on site.
The 2022 CIFTIS will be held in Beijing from Aug 31 to Sept 5 as scheduled.
