Storyline
Nanning City in south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will host a grandiose exhibition of water lilies next week, as the flowers has adorned the municipal park a paradise on earth.
Visitors can enjoy the picturesque scenery of multifarious water lilies blooming into colorful flowers as soon as the exhibition kicks off on next Thursday in Nanning People’s Park, according to a staffer with the park.
“Over 100 varieties of water lily will be put on exhibition, with 60 of which are elite breed and 20 global prize-winners,” said Zhou Quan, a technician with the park.
As one of the highlights of the exhibition, a bred namely Wanvisa is bound to wow the audience with gorgeous multicolored flowers.
Bred by a Thai expert, the water lily is called Wanvisa and has been very popular among plant lovers. However, only a few Wanvisa water lilies can produce bicolored flowers; therefore, this blossom is considered rare.
